Now, consider the beginnings of the Universe. By any stretch of the imagination, is it possible to replicate the moment when the Universe began? Can science enter the "void" they imagine to have existed before their imagined "Big Bang?" If not, any study of the origins of the Universe is out of bounds for science. The study we call Cosmology is not a valid scientific pursuit to the extent that it seeks to examine our beginnings. Knowledge about the beginnings of our living place must be sourced in something other than science. Logic would bring a clear thinking person to the conclusion that testimony from Someone who WAS there at the beginning should be taken as valid. That "Someone" has made a record of His report in Genesis 1:1 and John 1:1. Believe His testimony if you want a fact-based starting point for your study of the Universe. Disbelieve it at the peril that you will be accused of violating the scientific method. Furthermore, if you insist upon adhering to the theory of evolution, you risk being accused of ignoring the first law of thermodynamics. If there was a void before the mysterious Big Bang, who can claim that it is impossible for something to come from nothing? Jesus testified "Before Abraham was I am." The "I am" is one without beginning. His pre-existence underlies the human perspective we call "beginning." No specie has come into being within the experience of any man. Therefore, the origin of any specie is also out of bounds for valid science. Any scientist who enters these fields of endeavor must first abandon his belief in the validity of the scientific method. -- Richard Palmquist Send email to frontoffice@truthradio.com with questions or comments about this subject. |
