If you will not become the Bride of Christ, then tell me -- who will? When scripture speaks of the Bride of Christ, what group is in view? What group now separate from the Body of Christ will be unified with Him at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb? If we want to find the answer to this question wouldn't it be a good idea to check out what groups are separate from the group of believers called the Body, the Church? What groups would they be? Is the Bride going to be unbelievers? They are separate, but it's not likely that unbelievers will marry those they despise. So, what group then? Will it be the Gentile Nation group? No. How about that group that God referred to as His Chosen People? Doesn't that make sense? Have you noticed that the Bible comes in two parts: Old Covenant and New Covenant? Isn't it logical that eventually the two would become one? The Twelve Tribe group of the genuine nation of Israel remains God's chosen people, but they are estranged from the Church Body. Will they become the Bride? You decide. But meanwhile, don't call the church building the "House of God." YOU are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, if He lives in you and works through you. The church building is just a place that the Temples of God get together to worship. -- Richard Palmquist Send email to frontoffice@truthradio.com with questions or comments about this subject. |
